Grape: 100% old Maccabeu (an old Catalan variety).
Vinification: De-stemming, pressing, and temperature-controlled vinification. Maturing in contact with air: 1 year in vats; then 14 months in French oak barrels and bottling.
Tasting note: A mahogany coloured wine with powerful aromas of orange blossom and vanilla and fine notes of oak and toast. This wine makes a great aperitif and goes deliciously with a starter like a melon. It also goes well with a dry goat cheese.
